Charlotte Gopinath

Charlotte Gopinath is an engaging performer and a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher. She graduated magna cum laude from USC with degrees in Violin Performance and English, where she studied on full scholarship. Upon graduation, Charlotte was awarded USC's prestigious Renaissance Scholarship Prize in recognition of outstanding achievement in disparate academic fields.

She has performed throughout the US, for audiences including former First Lady Laura Bush, Queen Rania and Queen Noor of Jordan. She was a member of the USC Thornton Symphony, and has also appeared in orchestral settings with popular artists including Wayne Brady, Denis DeYoung, Dr. John, Richard Marx, Tommy Sims, Wayne Shorter and Earth Wind and Fire.

Charlotte began teaching as part of a musical outreach program while at USC. Together with two colleagues, she taught music appreciation and violin classes to students at under-served Los Angeles elementary schools. She currently teaches private lessons and group classes in Boston.
