The Fossegrim Trio is a classical string trio comprised of two violinists, Caitlin and Charlotte, and a double bassist, Eric. We provide beautiful music for weddings, parties, corporate events and other special occasions.
Between the three of us, we have performed throughout the U.S. (including Carnegie Hall) and in England, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Norway, and India. Formed in 2008, the Fossegrim Trio plays a large selection of classical repertoire, and we are happy to help you design a program of music perfect for your special occasion.

The Musicians
Charlotte holds a B.M. in Violin Performance from USC’s Thornton School of Music, and a B.A. in English Literature.
Eric attended Oberlin Conservatory, where he earned a B.M. in Double Bass Performance; he also holds a B.A. in Art History from Oberlin College. His musical endeavors have taken him all over the U.S. and Europe; he has performed in Germany, Austria, France, Spain, and Norway. Caitlin has a B.A. in Music History and Theory from Oberlin College. She began playing the violin in middle school, after becoming intrigued by a friend’s viola. She has participated in many orchestras, chamber ensembles, and music festivals. One of her favorite musical experiences so far has been playing traditional German music with Eric on the streets of Germany.
